Rare Bound Vol 1 5 The Seven Circles Gibson NrThanks to all my repeta customers for your continued support and patronage during the past year! And welcome to any one i haven't done business with -yet! I am about 2/3 way through the collection, with about another 6 to 8 months to go, so stay tuned. And now, on to todays item. Rare! Copmlete run (1931 1934) volume one through five of the seven circles edited by walter b. Gibsno no reserve! The seven circles was the official publication of the international magic circle. As described in the first issue, this magazine strived to give magicians a worth-while, readable publication, filled with items of value and interest. Volumes one through five were published in april 1931 through june 1934. Featured the latest magic related news, articles, effects, advertisements, and much more. Also featured numerous contributors, such as jonh booth, glenn gravatt, walter gibson, will goldston, robert nelson, will blyth, harlan tarbell, etc. Issues featured black and white illustrations throughout. Volumes 1 and 2 have been bound into the first hardcover book, while volumes 3,4 and 5 have been bound into the second hardcover. Condition of both hardcovers bindings are lightly shaken, hinges are tight. The covers and spine are lightly rubbed, with some moderate fraying to the corners adn spine ends. No loose, torn or missing pages that i saw, with the exception of only an occasional small closed end tear (with tape repair). The interior pages are very clean, with the exception of an occasional small, faint soil mark or lightly penciled notation. There is also a small bookbinder sticker on the inside front cover of both books. Overall, both of these books are in very good condition. As with any book this old, some ageing and minor imperfections should be expected, as well as the possibility of unobtrusiev prior owner's notations, inventory control numbers and / or signatures. Any major imperfections will be noted. Please inspect the pictures to get a good idea of the condition fo the item and email me with any specific questions. Combined shipping at the same price as long as the weight doesn't kick up to the next higher rate and multilpe packages aren't necessary. A note to our international bidders please keep in imnd that not all of the costs associated with out-of-country shipping are just for the bare costs of the postage itself. With the cost of gasoline being what it is these days, it costs me over $5.00 in gas and wear and tear on the car alone to make the special trip to the post office thta is required because of customs forms, not to mention the additional time (usually an additional hour or more, round trip). Also, several times i have taken the packages for out-of-country shipment to the post office, only to be told that the postage was more than what was charged by the ebay calculator and more than what was quoted by their own usps online calculator. Another consideration is the cost of packing materiasl (tape, packing foam, etc. ).
This is why i have 2 statements in the listing to please click on the shipping calculator to determine your cost to shpi this item before you bid so there are no surprises. I put them there so there would be no surprise as to the cost to ship these items after the fact. Please understand that i do not like these high costs for long distance shipping postage and the associated cosst any more than you do, but i have to pay for them.
